SOCA was born from the idea of Alejandro Salido and Rui Da Mata to continue expanding and sharing their knowledge, but this time in the centre of Málaga. After a meeting with Joanna Coghlan, with whom Rui worked at Restaurante Spago -a pioneer in both fusion cuisine and sushi- and also Alejandro from Restaurante Palo Cortado -both located in Avenida de Pries- they decided to undertake this new adventure, together with Jesús Segovia, in the up-and-coming Calle Carretería. Here, they showcase modern fusion cuisine with its roots in local tradition and products.
